After Charlie ‘BIRD’ Parker, the owners of BIRD thought it was high time for a tribute to legendary American soul singer Mavis Staples. In MAVIS, the 1930s are brought back to life – the warmth, but the rawness as well. The historic building on the Westzeedijk was restored to its original state, although a nod has also been made towards the luxury cruise liners that used to dock in the area. Enter MAVIS to find a classic cocktail bar, an intimate restaurant and a stylish dance floor.

Choose one of our world cuisine dishes to share with friends and family and enjoy one of our perfectly served cocktails, our excellent selection of beers or a good glass of wine, while vinyl classics like Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald and Curtis Mayfield play in the background.
